I would like to thank the wonderful people of Mineola for all the support they have given me these past few years. I am running for re-election as trustee of Mineola because I love our village and public service in general. Like most, I have a full-time job but still devote my personal time and energy to my official duties as your trustee. I attend every meeting and community event possible and rarely, if ever, miss one. I love what I do. I believe that actions, good deeds and accomplishments speak far louder than words or political rhetoric ever can. My record of revitalizing our village and improving our services speaks for itself. It is however unfortunate for our great community that my opponents can only make personal attacks against me, cast aspersions on my integrity and misstate the facts and issues of this election. The bitterness and anger of a mere few people in our village make it uncomfortable for so many good people. Sadly, these negative attacks keep so many of our friends and neighbors out of public service.

I believe the people of Mineola can see through the silliness and self-promotion of these baseless personal attacks. Anytime an attack is raised so close to a village election, it can only have one purpose. That is to scare the residents of our great village. Don't be misled. If you haven't heard it before or seen it for yourself and if there is no proof offered, don't believe it. The election process is bad enough and getting worse every year. Mineola deserves better. Mineola deserves the truth. Every statement in my campaign is factual, true and positive in content.

Now it's time for you to decide who has the leadership qualities and skills to govern our village for the next two years. Leadership requires honesty, integrity and hard work. I hope you find that the work we have done in our village these past few years is reflective of these qualities. I ask for your support this March 21 for myself, Warren Brinker, and for my running mate, Maryanne Warnecke, for Mineola Village Trustee.

Thank you one and all.

Warren Brinker,

Trustee
