The student actors, musicians and technicians of Mineola High School will present their spring musical, The King and I, on Friday and Saturday, March 17 and 18, at 8 p.m. in the Mineola High School auditorium.

If you are looking for a most exciting theatrical experience, then The King and I should top your list. This Rodgers & Hammerstein creation is one of the world's most beloved musicals. The costumes, music and, of course, the performances by the students will be spectacular. This is a show for all ages.

It is anticipated that tickets will sell quickly for the show. Tickets will be sold in advance for $5 and at the door for $6. Tickets are $4 each for senior citizens and children under 12. Tickets can be purchased at Mineola High School in the Performing and Fine Arts office. Call 739-4179 for more information.

The King and I is directed by Ed Murray. The vocal musical director is Vaughn Fritts and the Pit Orchestra is directed by Don Carreras. The show is produced by Rob Ratner, school district director of Fine Arts.
