Freshman Heather Savignano, of Mineola, and the Ithaca College women's basketball team are 11-5 (6-1 in the Empire Eight) having won seven games in a row. The Bombers are tied for first place in the Empire Eight with St. John Fisher and played the Cardinals on Saturday.

Savignano, a forward, has played in 15 games this season and is shooting 41 percent from the field. She averages 2.9 points per game and 2.7 rebounds per game. She has four steals, five assists and two blocks on the season.
