More than 2,000 people attended the Mayor's Annual Halloween Party.

I would like to thank all the parents, grandparents and the children who attended.

I greatly enjoyed seeing the children in their costumes and the expressions on their faces when they were on the pony ride and especially at the petting zoo.

The success of the Halloween Party is the result of the efforts of many. Last week I mentioned the names of some of the volunteers and I would be remiss if I didn't name the following who worked on this event:

Giacomo Ciccone Javier Palacio
Fred Deodato Jack Valente
Bill Howard Alex Ramahlete
Frank Temperino Luigi Vacchiano
Sean McCrave Tom Mikowski
Dorothy Bedson, Scout Richard Verriest Jr., Scout Nick Zutrau, Scout Dan Zarcky, Scout Chris Williams, Scout William Schweiger, Scout Paul Schuber, Scout Christopher Orlik, Scout Brian Mulligan, Scout Andrew McInnes, Scout William Lee, Scout Edward, Kaiser, Scout Jason Gago, Scout Kenny D'Elia, Scout John F. Boland, Scout Master Steven M. Grosskopf, Assistant Scout Masters Richard Verriest Sr., Paul Schuber, Andrew McInnes, Frank D'Elia A very special thank you goes to the students and art teachers, Catherine Skopic at Jackson Avenue School and Diane Owens at Hampton Street School for the beautiful art work they submitted for our Halloween Party. The halls of the Community Center were lined with the wonderful pictures drawn by our talented children. What a delight it was for the parents and grandparents to see!
