Gus Anninos, of Mineola, died on Feb. 10, 1999. Proprietor of the Old Country Diner, Carle Place. Husband of the late Angelina. Father of Georgia Fischetto, Dennis Anninos and the late Dr. Dina Anninos Zanello. Grandfather of Andrew and Melissa. Brother of Nestor, Nick and Helen. Arrangements were made by the Fairchild Chapel, Garden City. Religious service. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Theresa M. Kollmer, of Mineola, died on Feb. 10, 1999. Wife of the late John E. Mother of Theresa Gesick, Sr. Josephine Kollmer, MM, Sr. Margaret Kollmer, MM, Eileen Geiger, Audrey Bellmar, Lois and Richard Kollmer. Sister of Edythe Lorbeck and Marie Greil. Grandmother of 14. Great-grandmother of eight. Arrangements were made by the Cassidy Funeral Home, Mineola. Funeral Mass at Corpus Christi RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Fussell, MD, died on Feb. 18, 1999 surrounded by his family at a local hospital in Virginia Beach, VA. Jim was born in Mineola. He graduated from Chaminade High School, Georgetown University and Georgetown School of Medicine. He did his internship in internal medicine at the Medical College of Virginia and then served three years in the US Army Special Forces as a Green Beret. He completed this residency in internal medicine and fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the Medical College of Virginia. He served as associate professor of internal medicine in the Pulmonary Division at the Eastern Virginia Medical School for 21 years. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; his three sons, Jim, Jonathan (Randi) and Christopher; his daughter, Sarah Younger (Ross); and grandson, Griffin. Also survived by his father, Lyman G. Fussell, MD; his sister, Barbara Jane Callahan (Tom); numerous nieces and nephews; and his cousin, Tim McGrath (Carol). Arrangements were made by the Kellum Funeral Home, Virginia Beach. Burial at Holy Rood Cemetery. Donations can be made to Chaminade Development Fund, Inc., Chaminade High School, 340 Jackson Ave., Mineola, NY 11501-9805.
