She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mineola and was employed by the LI Trust Company in Garden City. Wife of Joseph E. Mother of Joyce Quinn Blum and the late Gail Patricia Quinn. Sister of Irene Macdonald, the late Florence Merritt and the late Lillian O'Connor. Grandmother of Stephanie Blum and Stacey McDowell. Great-grandmother of Rory and Nathaniel McDowell. Aunt of several nieces and nephews. Memorial service at the First Presbyterian Church of Mineola. Rose M. Colabello (nee Sofia), of Williston Park formerly of Roslyn Heights, died on July 10, 1998. Retired clerical worker with the comptroller's office of the Town of N. Hempstead. Wife of the late Pasquale. Mother of John J. Colabello and Joy C. Susi. Mother-in-law of Richard D. Susi, MD. Grandmother of Paul and Richard C. Sisi and Laura, Daniel and Diane Colabello. Sister of the late Dominick, Daniel, William, Anthony Sofia, Lucy Masiello and Theresa Carbocci. Sister of Paula Esposito. Arrangements were made by the Fairchild Chapel, Manhasset. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter of Alcantara RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
