Fall soccer registration forms may be obtained at the refreshment stand at the village pool from Marianne Wachter or Colleen Peralta. Drafts will be held in mid-August. The season is scheduled to open Sept. 12-13.

A clarification: the Mineola Athletic Association executive board did not discuss at its July 16 meeting possible reprisals against a baseball manager who did his own articles for this newspaper.

The board will formalize its publicity policy at its Aug. 17 meeting.

Jim Smith has been designated publicity chairman. A resolution will be proposed on Aug. 20 that material written by persons other than Smith not be included in any column under the heading "MAA News."
