John J. McMorrow died on June 4, 1998. Retired from the the US Post Office and was a member of Corpus Christi Council Knights of Columbus #2502, Kellenberg Assembly 4th Degree, Catholic War Veterans #737, American Legion Post #144, VFW Albertson Post #5253 and the Holy Name Society. Husband of Mary (nee McInerney). Father of Patrick F. and Ann M. Morris. Grandfather of Sean P. and Cara M. Morris. Father-in-law of Carolyn and Jim. Arrangements were made by the Weigand Bros. Funeral Home, Williston Park. Funeral Mass at St. Aidan's RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Regina Cunningham, of Williston Park, died on June 5, 1998. Wife of the late Harold A. Mother of Paul H., Gerard W., Peter J. and Bert J. Grandmother of 15. Great-grandmother of nine. Arrangements were made by the Weigand Bros. Funeral Home, Williston Park. Funeral Mass at St. Aidan's RC Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

Thomas F. Dalton Jr., of Oyster Bay Cove and president of the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Homes Inc., died on June 17, 1998. He attended St. Francis Xavier High School and graduated from Syracuse University. He served in the US Air Force.

In 1924 Thomas F. Dalton Sr. founded the Floral Park Funeral Home. Thomas F. Dalton Jr. and his brother George continued the family tradition and together founded the five Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Homes in existence today which include the Floral Park location, New Hyde Park, Williston Park, Levittown and Hicksville Chapels. Today this family tradition is carried on by third generation Timothy Dalton and Beth Dalton-Costello.

Mr. Dalton was respected and admired for his combined successful professional career and benevolent role in the local community and will always be remembered for his marvelous community spirit. He was awarded Outstanding Business Owner by the Levittown Chamber of Commerce. He was a founding member and past president of the Levittown Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Floral Park Lions, member of the Elks Club, Hicksville, the American Legion, Kiwanis and Lions Club of Levittown, the Levittown Exchange Club, Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Dalton was the husband of Mary. Father of Beth Dalton-Costello and Pamela DiMola. Brother of George. Brother-in-law of Dell. Grandfather of Caitlin, Rosemary, Megan and Kelsey. Father-in-law, Keven and Dan. Uncle of Matthew, Tim Chris and Martha.
