This is a note from central Virginia to all our dear friends who still live in Mineola.

We would like to announce the marriage of our eldest son, Bruce Justin Chippindale of Pasadena, CA to Svetlana Zhelonkina, from Yoshkar-Ola, Russia on Feb. 28. The newlyweds will reside in Pasadena where Bruce works for Jet Propulsion Laboratory. They will be visiting with the family at their Sag Harbor cottage in September.

We are going to visit our grandchildren, Kjersti and Anders Chippindale in Santa Fe, New Mexico at the end of this month. They are the children of our middle son, Glenn, and his wife Suzanne.

We love our new home in Virginia, but we left a bit of our hearts in Mineola, where we lived from September 1951 to June 1997. We love getting the news through the Mineola American, especially Lou Sanders' column.
