David F. Burke Sr., of Mineola, died on April 24, 1998. A retired purchasing agent with the Diocese of Rockville Centre, he was a member of IAABD - Basketball Retirees Association. Husband of Miriam (nee Butler). Father of David Jr. (Patricia), Jane Parrinelli (Robert) and Patrick (Joan). Grandfather of Robert, Jessica, Joseph, Cassandra, Mallory, Kelley, Patrick Jr. and Jamie. Brother of two brothers and five sisters. Arrangements were made the Cassidy Funeral Home, Mineola. Funeral Mass at Corpus Christi Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
