I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation with regards to the recent village election.

First, I would like to thank and congratulate my two running mates, Warren Brinker and John O'Shea. They are dedicated and hard working individuals with proven records of accomplishments, and I know they will continue to be an asset to our village. I am proud to have been a part of their team and proud of the campaign we ran.

Next I would like to thank our assiduous village staff. Much work "behind-the-scenes" must be accomplished to make these elections run smoothly and without flaws. I would like to thank them for a job well done. They are second to none.

I would also like to congratulate Joe Galante for the challenge and for offering the residents a choice in their government.

Most importantly, my hat goes off to all those residents who came out and voted. The village election is often forgotten but is probably the election that most affects you. I again thank those who took the time to go to the polls. Your voice needs to be and is most definitely heard!

The support that has been shown to me over the past several years has been truly wonderful and at times overwhelming, and I assure you, never taken for granted. I sincerely thank the many people that have offered their assistance during this campaign and the encouragement bestowed upon me. I will never forget it.

Lastly, I must thank my family. My husband Tom, my three children: Theresa, Charles and Timothy, and my mom, who unselfishly support me, which allows me to perform the task at hand.

I once again pledge to all the residents of this great village that I will continue to work hard for all of us and to keep this community a family of which we are all proud to be members.
