Born in Brooklyn, he was in the Marine Corps Reserves and a former traveling salesman. He was co-owner of the former Heritage Realty and owner of Hildebrandt's Restaurant, Williston Park (which will continue to run under his wife Joanne.) He owned a restored vintage Ford pickup truck. Husband of Joanne. Father of Joanne Miller, Ann Fox and Susan Acosta. Father-in-law of Douglas, Michael and Bryan. Grandfather of Alyssa and Nicholas Miller and Dakota and Hunter Acosta.
