When a public servant decides to move on to enjoy his golden years, there is still one more important service to perform. That is to leave the care of his vacated office to the most competent people available. Tom Muldoon had done just that.
The baton has been passed to Joe Connelly who for the past four years has faithfully served our village as deputy mayor. Working with Tom has prepared Joe for a natural transition to that office of Mayor of Williston Park.
Two newcomers to the Integrity Party, Rocco Iannarelli and Ray Masaitis are poised to fill two other vacated positions for trustee. Both candidates for trustee are longtime residents of our village, with impressive records of volunteer service to church and youth organizations at local, county and state levels.
When joined with Doreen Ehrbar, Rocco and Ray along with Mayor Connelly, will bring local governments to new heights.
The Integrity Party is truly the new wave of government in Williston Park.
Let's all show our support on Wednesday, March 18, by voting for these fine candidates who are committed to the growth of our village and the safety of its residents.
Connelly-Ehrbar-Iannarelli-Masaitis "It just doesn't get any better than this."
On a personal note, I would like to thank my good friend Tom Muldoon for serving beyond all expectations, the people of his beloved " Willistonia," and for fulfilling commitment to be a full time mayor." A politician who kept his promises - that's refreshing.
We wish you and your family the best; you will certainly be missed.
