I would like to thank everyone who supported me in my campaign for the New York State 7th Senatorial District. I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you. It was a hard fought race and it provided an excellent opportunity for me to focus attention on important issues facing our district.
I wish my opponent, Senator Michael Balboni well and as your town councilwoman, I look forward to working with him on issues that affect all residents of the town.
Doreen Banks
North Hempstead Town Councilwoman
I would like to thank the residents of North Hempstead for placing their trust in me and electing me to the position of town clerk.
Over the next two years, I look forward to serving in this important governmental post. Be assured that I will use all of my expertise as an administrator to streamline and improve my new office.
The past few months have been extraordinary ones for me. During the campaign, I traveled throughout North Hempstead, meeting thousands of residents at train stations, civic events and while walking door-to-door. You told me you wanted a more efficient government, but one which also provides crucial services in a timely manner. That mandate will be met.
Starting in January, 1998, you can reach me at 869-7646. I look forward to serving as North Hempstead Town Clerk and will always be grateful for being given this opportunity.
Linda Green
North Hempstead Town Clerk-Elect
Thank you for reelecting me as your Nassau County Legislator. It has been an honor to serve in the historic first Nassau County Legislature and I deeply appreciate having the privilege of continuing to represent you in county government.
The next two years will be a time of challenge and a time of opportunity in Nassau County. I believe that we have a unique opportunity to secure and enhance our suburban way of life in the last years of this century and well into the next. I look forward to working with other public officials and community leaders to provide the high quality government services you deserve.
For me to be successful as a legislator, I must rely on my own abilities and values, but also the ideas, viewpoints and aspirations of the residents. I urge you to contact me with your suggestions on improving our country or if my office may be of assistance to you our your neighborhood.
My legislative office is located in the County Executive Building, One West Street, Mineola, 11501. (516) 571-6209. You may also reach me by e-mail at Rnicolello@nassau.org.
Once again, thank you for affording me the privilege of serving.
Richard J. Nicolello
I wish to thank all the wonderful people of Mineola who supported me in the race for North Hempstead Town Supervisor. Having my roots in Mineola, I feel particularly privileged to have had the opportunity to become reacquainted with so many people whose children I attended either Corpus Christi School or Mineola High School with so many years ago. It was also an honor to meet all the Mineola residents who offered their kind words of encouragement and support as I walked the neighborhoods or attended senior citizen club meetings throughout the campaign. To each and every one of you, I say thank you.
