Roller Hockey Rink

(This letter was sent to Mayor John Colbert and is reprinted at the author's request.)

As per your recent request, the following is a synopsis of the conversation I had with Tom Gulotta at Clarke High School's homecoming game on Oct. 11.

I asked Mr. Gulotta if we could receive funding for the new roller hockey rink that is presently under construction. Mr. Gulotta appeared to be interested in this subject and advised me that you, Mr. Colbert, should go and se him to discuss the situation. Please remind Mr. Gulotta that 40 to 45 percent of the children who use the roller hockey rink are not residents of Mineola, but do reside in Nassau County.
