Plainedge High School’s award-winning Devilettes Kickline team, which is advised by Kelly Grosser and Michelle Catalano, once again triumphed over the competition and placed second in both dance and pom categories during the Long Island Kickline Competition held at Commack Middle School.
Devilettes captains Kimberleigh Costanzo, Marcella Biordi and Amanda Cioffi led the way as the girls showed their competitive spirit, while maintaining a level of sportsmanship that the Plainedge community is famous for.
The girls are one point away in both categories (dance and pom) to reach the championship, which will be held in March. The opportunity for the students to capture a championship spot will be in January, during the Long Island Kickline Association Competition (LIKA).
