Blue and gold reigned at Homecoming, Oct. 12, as the Massapequa Chiefs swiftly took the lead against Syosset and kept it until claiming victory 49-28.
The win was a perfect ending to a glorious, full-filled day of school spirit and pride that began with the Homecoming parade. The processional was led by the Marine Corps Color Guard, followed by Grand Marshal Mike Hanna, president of the Massapequa Hall of Fame, Board of Education members and district officials. The Massapequa High School Marching Band, the Homecoming Court motorcade, floats, sports teams and clubs filed down the streets of Massapequa as community members cheered them on with pride.
Fans donning school colors filled the stands to support the Chiefs and cheer them onto their impressive win.
Thanks go out to the Booster Club and members of the community for making the day a huge success.
