The onset of shorter days and the opening of school signals not only the approach of fall, but also the start of football season. Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto (back row 2nd from right) along with Councilman Joseph Pinto (4th from left), Councilwoman Michele Johnson (5th from left) and Town Clerk James Altadonna Jr. (right) were on hand as the Plainedge Bobcats kicked off their fall season. Supervisor Venditto and the Town Board members wished the young football players well as they embarked on a new season and also extended best wishes to the coaches who will instill in their players a sense of teamwork, responsibility, dedication and enjoyment of the game.
