Massapequa Runners Score In RunNassau Series

Bradley Raxenberg of Woodbury scored his third overall win over the RunNassau Series, smoking the field at Eisenhower Park on April 28 with a 22:03 finish, 51 seconds in front of his nearest challenger.

Among the award winners were Nora Reade of Massapequa Park, who scored as the third woman in the 15-19 age group, and Howard Kestenbaum of Massapequa Park, who took home first place honors in the 85 and over age group.

The race was a terrific series, and a great way for Nassau County, the County Parks Department, and the Friends of Nassau Recreation to lead up to the this past weekend’s Long Island Marathon.
