More than a thousand friends and neighbors turned out for the Village of Massapequa Park’s two-day street festival last weekend. Close to a hundred venders lined both Park Boulevard and Front Street that included arts and crafts, food booths, local businesses, service organizations, Veteran’s Posts, ice cream stands, and jewelry booths galore.
And there were plenty of activities for the young festival-goers where a miniature carnival was set up in the village parking area at the corner of Park Boulevard and Front Street.
Coming up next for Massapequa’s residents will be the formal celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Massapequa Fire Department 1910-2010. Look for the date and times for all the activities in the Massapequan Observer.
