Ed Kliegman, an author and resident of Massapequa Park, shares his knowledge, experience and skills through the pages of his new book, For Presidents Who Want to Change the Future.
The Massapequa Park resident wrote his book to offer advice and teach leaders of any organization or business the principles of leadership. It is a “must read for anyone who wants to experience success in organization or business life,” he said, adding that the pages of the book are packed with sound advice and tips for developing plans to grow an organization and its leadership, a necessity for every organization and business.
“As a president, I knew what I wanted to do because I had a plan,” said Kliegman. “Any organization can flourish with a leader who delegates and creates a chain of command. The president’s job is to think about the future and make positive changes when needed.”
A natural leader and an individual who wore many “hats” prior to writing his book, Kliegman, who is a Certified Public Accountant, was also the founder of Marcum & Kliegman, CPAs (now Marcum LLP), the Nassau/Suffolk Chapter of the
National Conference of CPA Practitioners, (NCCPAP) and ICPA Corp., one of the first independent accounting firms in St. Petersburg, Russia. Kliegman has been published in Accounting Today, The CPA Journal, The Practical Accountant, and other magazines and newspapers. He also conducted seminars, and lectured on leadership and American business methods in Russia, Estonia and the Ukraine, and has spoken and consulted with many types of organizations about leadership throughout the United States.
Kliegman’s book stresses the importance of developing strong meaningful relationships with a company’s team members. It points out that the best way to build a successful organization is with those who show a common purpose, in turn helping the leader to achieve goals by engaging the right people and connecting with them.
The book, written to help leaders in the nonprofit, corporate, and educational sectors, was released several months ago and is available on Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, and via his website, www.edkliegman.com. It can also be uploaded to electronic readers such as the Kindle and Nook.
