An employee at a North Broadway convenience was arrested for allegedly selling alcohol to a person younger than 21, Nassau police said. According to police, Mohammad Wakmal, 50, allegedly sold alcoholic beverages to a 17-year-old female without requesting identification, while working at the Mini Mart located at 903C N. Broadway on March 1, and then once again sold alcohol to a 17-year-old on March 10. Wakmal was charged with prohibited sale of alcohol to person under 21 and first degree unlawfully dealing with a child.
