Caring For The Caregiver

Caring for the Caregiver is a support group for those responsible for others. In Massapequa, there are two support groups led by trained facilitators who help caregivers address their situation and offer support and understanding of the task they are doing. On the first and third Tuesdays of each month, a group meets at the Massapequa Reformed Church from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Grace Episcopal Church hosts a support group on the second and fourth Tuesdays in the Grace Day School building from 7:30 to 9 p.m. If you are, or have been, a caregiver, you are welcome to join either or both groups at any time. If you know of others who are caregivers, encourage them to join one or both groups. The program is open to all members of the Massapequa community.
