On Sunday, June 7 at 9 a.m., the Unqua PTA is hosting its first ever 5K race.

The Rocky's Rockin' 5K Fun Run/Walk will be held on that date at Unqua School, located on Unqua Road in Massapequa.

The race course will be around Unqua School and Marjorie Post Park. A fun race for youngsters starts at 9 a.m., followed by the 5K run at 9:30 a.m. There will be prizes and refreshments after the race.

Participant costs are: Age 18 and over: $20; Ages 13-17, $10; ages 5-12, $5; ages 4 and under: free.
