The Seventh Squad is investigating a death of undetermined cause that occurred on March 2, in Massapequa.

The body of the 72-year-old female, fully clothed in winter apparel, was discovered in the side yard of 47 Lincoln Avenue by a landscaper/snow remover, at 3:44 p.m., detectives said. The woman, later identified as Marian Krauss, was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:50 p.m., by NCPD AMT Gehringer. Cause of death is undetermined, but does not appear to be criminal at this time, detectives added.

The Nassau County Medical Examiner's Office will continue the investigation.
