Renovation work on the expanded Waldbaum's in North Massapequa is now complete.

The ribbon-cutting reopening ceremony was held on Friday, Jan. 23. Among those in attendance was Village of Massapequa Park Trustee Harry Jacobson, along with Waldbaum's representatives. The day featured music, food samples, demonstrations, giveaways, and special sales.

The store, which is located on 702 Hicksville Rd., includes an expanded produce, deli and bakery sections, as well as a full service seafood department.

In addition, the store will feature a full-service floral shop, with local grown orchids, California Potted Blooming Plants and a variety of mixed first-class bouquets.

Further highlighting the new store is a full service in-store Pharmacy that will provide customers with convenient one-stop shopping for prescription medication and other pharmaceutical needs.

Additionally, the new Pharmacy will feature A&P's "Live Better Wellness Club," which enables members to receive discounts on prescription drug alternatives, vitamins and other popular over-the-counter items.
