Recently, the Farmingdale Girls U-11 Soccer Team Phoenix won a soccer championship at the WAGS (Washington Area Girls Soccer) Soccer Tournament in the D.C. Area in the "B" Flight Division. They did so by winning six straight games.

The Phoenix would like to thank the Teams United & Rockets along with The Farmingdale Soccer Club for their continued support. The squad has several players from the Massapequa area.

Among the starts were Samantha Simco who scored 3 goals, Kathryn Murray stopping a penalty kick in the championship game, and Jessica Ammendola scoring the winning goal in double overtime . All the girls showed how a team can win by pulling together and giving a complete effort.
