News 12 Long Island morning personality Elisa DiStefano will host the finals of the Reach for the Stars Teen Talent Search on Saturday, Aug. 11, at Eisenhower Park's Lakeside Theatre. The rain date is Aug. 15.

Twenty-three Nassau County teenage vocalists will compete as finalists on Aug. 11. Among them are Massapequa residents Michelle Trudden, Drew Holland, Elora Rosch and Kristie Maldonado.

The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free. A panel of judges will preside, including former Reach for the Stars winner and Nassau County's own American Idol, Kevin Covais. The panel will include professionals in the music industry and music educators from the Long Island area.

In addition to the three youngsters from Massapequa, other contestants are: Stephanie Blanco from Rockville Centre, Seanna Burke from Oyster Bay, Christina Guando from Westbury, Mary Kleshefsky from Wantagh, Andrea Lopez from Farmingdale, Lyle Mackston from Island Park, Tyler Martin from Hempstead, Kelsey McCabe from Rockville Centre, Leandra McNair from Westbury, Joseph Minasi from Rockville Centre, Claire Murphy from Bethpage, Megan O'Rourke from Glen Cove, Robert Rosen from Merrick, Emma Siegel from Rockville Centre, Suzanne Sorbera from New Hyde Park, Eve Steuer from Plainview, Lisa Stockman from Wantagh, Jennifer Wynne from Franklin Square and Jennifer Yoo from Garden City.

The Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre is located near parking fields 6 and 6A in Eisenhower Park, which itself is located in East Meadow with entrances on Hempstead Turnpike and Merrick Avenue. Parking fields 6 and 6A are most convenient to the Lakeside Theatre.
