On Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 9 and 10, the Massapequa Park Merchants Association will present its 28th Annual Arts and Crafts Street Festival. Show hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event will take place outdoors on Park Boulevard and will feature arts and crafts, children's amusements, music, and local talent, merchant sidewalk sales and more.

The fair will also feature 100 plus select arts and crafts exhibitors, plus free admission, free parking, merchant sidewalk sales, music and food vendors. Sponsors - Massapequa Park Merchants Association, Village of Massapequa Park.

Traveling directions: Take the Long Island Expressway (495) to Exit 44. Take the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway (135) South to Exit 2E Sunrise Highway (27). Proceed east on Sunrise Highway approximately 2 miles to Park Boulevard. Make left onto Park Boulevard and proceed to fair.
