The Nassau County Police Department is investigating what they are calling a homicide that occurred in Seaford on Saturday, June 21 at 11:13 a.m.

According to detectives, Seventh Precinct police officers were called to a residence on South St. in Seaford for an aided case. Upon arrival, police officers found Natalie Ciappi, 18, of Massapequa in the garage of the home. She was unresponsive and transported by Nassau County Police Ambulance to New Island Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 11:39 a.m. An autopsy was performed at the Nassau County Medical Examiners Office.

On Sunday, June 22, detectives reported the arrest of Seewoo Sung, 19, of Seaford for Tampering with Physical Evidence in regard to the above incident. Sung was arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Tuesday, June 24.
