Jack Schultheis, a longtime resident of Massapequa, was born April 14, 1908 in Marburg, Germany. He immigrated to the United States in 1924 and settled in Ridgewood, Queens. He married Carol Walters, now deceased, in 1940. They moved to Massapequa in 1950. Jack worked for E. B. Stimpson, first in Brooklyn and then in Bayport, for 50 years. In October 2007, he moved to Cooperstown, NY to live with his niece, Maryann Palmatier. He enjoys fishing and reminiscing about his youth. He celebrated his 100th birthday with family and friends at the home of his niece.
