The Farmingdale Ice Hockey Club earned their first MCHC (Metropolitan Collegiate Hockey Conference) Conference Championship on Sunday, March 2 after defeating Albany 2-1 in overtime.

Winning the championship advanced them for the first time to the ACHA National Tournament. The Rams defeated Florida Gulf Coast 6-2 in the first round and lost to Northern Colorado 5-2 in the quarter finals finishing seventh out of a field of 16.
