Opinion

We want to thank Ashley Osterbery from Town Florist, for being our Easter Bunny last week. Ashley was out for several hours in the cold wind, but cheerfully handed out goodies to everyone on Park Boulevard. Thank you Ashley for a job well done!

We hope you saw the Merchants Association ads in last week's papers. We listed our members for your shopping convenience and it is our hope that you will patronize our stores. We sure need your support in these tough economic times.

The Massapequa Merchants Association will be donating $1,000 to Massapequa Cares this Monday, March 24. at Village Hall (151 Front Street). This money is used for the Northport Veterans Hospital and helps to buy essential health items and clothing for our veterans. Please join us. We would love to say hello to our neighbors.

We hope you all had a Happy Easter and we are looking forward to the upcoming Passover Holiday. At that time Molly Matzo will be giving out candy to the shoppers on Park Boulevard. We will advise you next week of the dates and time that she will be appearing. Get the cameras ready!
