Massapequa High School senior track star Frankie Dioguardi has received an athletic scholarship to The Citadel in Charleston, SC, where he will be a member of their Division I Track & Field Team. Dioguardi signed with The Citadel on February 6 as his proud family members, coaches, and Massapequa Public School District administrators looked on.

Attending the signing was Frankie, along with his father, Frank Dioguardi and his mother Tracy Dioguardi. Also in attendance were: Massapequa High School - Main Campus Principal Dr. James Grossane, Massapequa High School - Main Campus Assistant Principal Robert Piotrowski, Massapequa Public School District Director of Athletics Igor Bishko, Frankie's brother Mike Dioguardi, Massapequa High School - Main Campus Track and Field Coach Jim Ryan, and Berner Middle School Track Coach Mike Lisa.
