The following is a summary of actions taken by the Massapequa Board of Education at its regularly scheduled meeting on Feb. 7.

The Board of Education received the following reports:

• Energy Performance Update from Johnson Controls

• Budget Presentation of Debt Service, General Support, Employee Benefits, Transportation and Community Services of the 2008-09 Proposed School Budget

The Board of Education acted on a variety of new business, including resolutions to:

• Adopt revisions to Policy 5460 - Suspected Child Abuse and Maltreatment.

• Accept the Long Range Financial Plan previously discussed in draft form at the January 10, 2008 Board of Education public meeting.
