Arson Bomb Squad detectives report the details of a fire that occurred on Monday, Jan. 21 at 4:15 p.m. in North Massapequa.

According to detectives, North Massapequa, Massapequa, South Farmingdale and Wantagh Fire Departments responded with 100 firemen to extinguish a fire on N. Hawthorne Street. The residence was fully engulfed by fire. Five people occupied the house at the time of the fire. All occupants exited the home without injury. The source of the fire is undetermined at this time, detectives said. Nassau County Fire Marshal and arson bomb squad are still investigating.
