Roger P. Gentile, of Holtsville, formerly of Massapequa Park, passed away on December 28, 2007. Retired NCPD Detective 3rd Squad. Husband of Kathy. Father and father-in-law of Amanda and Joseph Licci, Glenn and Anthony. Grandfather of Anthony and Ava. Son of Caroline and the late Victor. Brother of Victor, Maryanne Brady, Joseph, Carolyn Magness, Anthony, Michael, Anne Gougler and Susan Hilton. Son-in-law of Helen Sotirhos and the late Anthony. Brother-in-law of George (Christine), Dorothy, and Emanuel (Diane). Also survived by many nieces and nephews, and friend to many. Arrangements were made by McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held at St. Kilian RC Church.
