Sophomore goalkeeper Courtney Dowell of Massapequa is a member of the 2007 Ithaca College field hockey team. The Bombers are 3-6 on the season and are 2-1 in Empire 8 conference play. Ithaca most recently defeated #7 William Smith 2-1 in double overtime and conference rival Hartwick 3-0.

Dowell has appeared in all nine games for Ithaca this year. She was named Empire 8 Player of the Week for her performance in the past week, making a career-high 10 saves in the game against William Smith. Dowell has 52 saves on the season and has a 2.35 goal against average.
