Deanna Catapano has joined the Massapequa Public School District as the new Assistant Principal at Unqua Elementary School.

Ms. Catapano comes to Massapequa after working as a reading specialist in the Baldwin Public School District for more than a decade. She received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Elementary Education and Reading from St. John's University, and a School District Administrator's Certificate from SUNY Stony Brook.

"I am very excited to be working in a wonderful school within a wonderful community, and I look forward to supporting the academic, social and emotional growth of all the children of Unqua School," said Ms. Catapano.
