  • News: Lodge Gala to Honor Salvatore Patrone

    The Columbus Lodge #2143 (CL), a not-for-profit fraternal organization, announced that they will hold a Fight for Education gala on Oct. 19 at the Stuart Thomas Manor with proceeds from the event supporting scholarships for graduating students from Farmingdale, Massapequa, Plainedge and Bethpage high schools who are enrolled in a college program.     Jan Serra, a Massapequa native, and co-designer of the firefighters Bell Tower erected in 1986 at the corner of Park Boulevard and Sunrise Highway in Massapequa Park, died at the age of 83 on Aug. 28. FULL STORY
