The Nassau County Police Activity League invites residents to compete in its county skills tournament.

The challenges include: Baseball - long ball hitting / lighting fast pitching; Basketball - shoot around; Football - kick-off / long pass; Track - 60-yard dash; and Soccer - shoot out

All current and previously registered PAL members from any sport / activity and any PAL unit are welcome to participate and awards will be presented.

Boys in grades K through 7.

Girls in grades K through 9.

All events will be held at the NC PAL sports complex located at: 510 Parkside Blvd., Massapequa.

Schedule of events:

July 15: 10:00 am - grade K, July 22, 10:00 a.m., grade 2, 11:00 a.m., grade 1, 11:00 a.m. grade 3.

July 29, 10:00 a.m., grade 4.

Aug. 5, 10:00 a.m. - grade 6/7, 11:00 a.m. - grade 5, 11:00 a.m., grade 8/9.
