Senior Kyle Hart of Massapequa of the Muhlenberg College men's lacrosse team was named to the All-Centennial Conference second team as a longstick midfielder.
Hart, who also earned second-team honors in 2005, served as team captain for the second straight year and led the Mules with 39 ground balls. He finished his career as the team's all-time leader with 173. Hart also contributed to the offense with a pair of assists as a senior and ended up with career totals of seven goals and four assists
"Kyle has been our best player for three years and will be sorely missed," said head coach Chris Bissinger. "He was the complete player and a great leader."
Senior Sean Toohill, also of Massapequa, tied Muhlenberg's scoring record in the final game of his career.
Toohill recorded a goal and two assists against Ursinus in the Mules' season finale to end his career with 106 points, tying a record that had stood since 1976. His 75 goals were two short of the school record. Toohill was Muhlenberg's leading scorer in 2007 with 27 points on 19 goals and 8 assists.
"Sean was athletic and competitive and helped our program evolve," said head coach Chris Bissinger. "He will be missed next year."
Playing in the tough Centennial Conference, Muhlenberg finished the season 6-6 for its first non-losing record in 33 years.
