  • News: Anniversary for Senior Center

    The Massapequa Park Senior Community Service Center is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, the human service agency of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rockville Centre hosted a luncheon last Friday for the center's participants at the Pompei Restaurant in West Hempstead. Two of the center's volunteers, Frances Smith and Helen Ghorsi, were honored for each providing 30 years of service. FULL STORY

  • Sports: Jason Massett Memorial Run May 20

    On Sunday, May 20, Grace Day School will sponsor its Fourth Annual 5K Run for Reading and Half-Mile Fun Run at Wantagh Park in Wantagh. The event, which is being held in memory of Massapequa resident and athlete Jason Massett, will benefit Grace Day School as it "rebuilds for the future" following a fire that destroyed several classrooms.
