The Historical Society of the Massapequas and Flamingo Promotions will hold their annual antiques show this Sunday, April 29, at Massapequa High School.
Outstanding exhibitors from across the Northeast will be offering a wide array of quality antiques, decorative objects, and fine art.
Among the featured presenters will be: Don & Lydia Lutz of Newbury, MA, offering unique assemblages, cottage furnishings and decorator smalls; CJ Brown of Staten Island offering vintage textiles; WellRead Books of Northport offering collectible books and vintage ephemera; Mary Meyers of Dix Hills offering personal accessories and small treasures; Steve Fishback of Great Neck offering exceptional antique and estate jewelry; Charlotte Stone of Roslyn Heights offering vintage paper and ephemera; Eunice Thomas of Setauket offering folk art, primitives and country furnishings; Franz Oehlerich of Buskirk offering one-of-a-kind garden and architectural findings; and James Seymore of Youngstown, OH, offering early 20th Century art pottery.
A special feature found only at Flamingo Shows will be antiques appraisals by popular TV Appraiser John Bruno from 1-4 p.m. at $5/item.
Show hours are Sunday, April 29, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Admission is $5 per person, young collectors 12-21: $3, under 12 free. There will be plenty of free parking.
Massapequa High School is located at 4925 Merrick Road (Rt. 27A) in Massapequa, directly across from the Bar Harbor Center and just a few miles east of the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway and Wantagh Parkway.
