    Colleen Riordan, owner of the Silver Scissors salon located on Wantagh Avenue just north of Park Avenue in the Wantagh business district has joined John Carpenter's campaign to collect school supplies for grade school children and to have a drop box in her popular upscale salon.     Now in it's fifth year, the Farmingdale Relay for Life is set for May 4-5 to be held once again on the Farmingdale State College great lawn. Teams are encouraged to walk the track in the hopes that each step they take, is a step closer to finding the cure for cancer. FULL STORY
