There will be no opposition to the incumbents running for re-election in this year's board of trustee elections in the Village of Massapequa Park.

The election will be held Tuesday, March 20, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Village Hall, 151 Front St.

Running unopposed for two-year terms are Mayor James Altadonna, Jr., and trustees Joseph Pinto and Harry Jacobson.

A major accomplishment of the previous term was the Verizon cable contract for the village, which was the first such contract issued in all of New York State.
