The Massapequa Wildcats recently took first place in the Girls U8 division in the Oceanside Rudy LaMonica Memorial tournament on Saturday, Feb. 17.

The girls played teams from Oceanside, Hicksville, East Meadow, Valley Stream and Plainview/Old Bethpage.

This team overcame injuries and a 0-2 start to come back and win first place overall in the finals.

Wildcat team members and coaches are: Emily Clark, Alyssa Mahan, Christina Devivo, Sara Lutz, Victoria Schwind, Meaghan Connolly, Coach Frank Lawless, Francesca Lawless and Cassidy Byrnes.
