  • News: MHS 50th Reunion Activities

    A 50th reunion celebration has been planned for the weekend of Sept. 28 for the Massapequa High School Class of 1957. Chairman Ed Cox has been meeting with about 12 classmates and has planned the following festivities: A Grand Banquet on Friday, Sept. 28 at the Woodlands on Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course, Woodbury; an "Ice-Breaker" gathering at McCann's, 5590 Merrick Road, East Massapequa on Thursday, Sept. 27, a tour and luncheon at Massapequa High School on Friday, Sept.28, a golf game on Sept. 28, a Picnic BBQ on Saturday, Sept. 29. A Memory Book/Journal will be prepared with biographical information of classmates.   • News: School Supply Campaign Under Way

    So Carpenter, in an effort to improve the situation, volunteered to lend his name as a well-known local artist to begin a campaign to collect gently used children's books, classroom, and art supplies.
