William Robert Armet, after a long and valiant battle with cancer, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Dec. 8, 2006. Predeceased by his wife Margaret of 58 years and survived by his children, Brian of Cromwell, CT (wife Joan); Diane of West Palm Beach, FL (partner Gabrielle); Robert of Hunter, NY (wife, Lena); his grandchildren, Daniel of Rochester, NY; Thomas of Somerville, MA; Teresa of Lexington, NY and his sister, Mildred Weidmann of Fenwick, DE (brother-in-law, Donald); nephew Charles, nieces Elaine, Janice and Marlene. His memorial service will be Jan. 13 at 1 p.m. at the Community United Methodist Church, 100 Park Boulevard, Massapequa. The family would appreciate any donations to your local Hospice. Edward C. Dukich, of North Massapequa, formerly of Bethpage, died on Jan. 5, 2007. Husband of Joan. Father of Edward, Steven, Thomas, John, Eileen Connelly, Michael, Robert, Kathleen Manning and James Bealin.
