In between preparing for their winter concerts, Massapequa school district student musicians made their rounds throughout the community to provide holiday entertainment in a variety of venues. Districtwide, band, chorus, and orchestra students performed Christmas and Chanukah tunes at Parkview Nursing Home, much to the delight of residents.

Students in the music program also showcased their talents at the Westfield Sunrise Mall, where they entertained shoppers and mall employees as well.

Arlynn Abramson, district director of music commented, "I would like to thank the music department staff for all of their hard work in preparing these outstanding performances during such a busy time of year."
